Genie actually surprises him, though. It's not that he thinks that guess is wrong (he knows very little about genies outside of the aforementioned sitcom), but demon seems like it would be the obvious answer so he's curious about what made Natsuno decide against it. ]
Demons usually come from hell or another dimension while genies live in the same world as humans. Fits with how the captain was taken from his village by humans.
Also demons don't usually fall in love. He doesn't give a crap about the rest of us but he does care about Skulduggery.

Not that I know of. Personally I think that if we try making a wish without bribing him or winning a bet, he'll put a nasty twist on it just to be funny.
Need to think of a way to figure out how to kill him. Genie live longer than humans but they aren't immortal. Maybe we can get him to step out into a reality he didn't create, like that island. What were you thinking about?
